The couple’s minimalist style gives us major inspo.
So, everyone is obsessed with Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian right now (we get it) — but can we just take a moment to appreciate the internet’s new favourite couple, Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum?
The actors were spotted in NYC earlier this week sporting complementary cozy fits and confirming their relationship status with some loved-up PDA (hand holding, arm around the shoulder — you know, the works).
Kravitz, the queen of effortless style, opted for a cream turtleneck and on-trend wide-leg blue jeans paired with The Row’s wool ‘Belona Coat’ and coveted ‘Zipped Boot 1’ black leather ankle boots. Tatum’s casually cool cream hoodie, black chinos and simple white slip-on shoes were the perfect match for Kravitz’s minimal mood. It seems these two have cracked the code to street style coordination, wouldn’t you say? For your viewing pleasure, we present Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum’s best street style moments.
Let’s take it back to where it all began: mid-August in NYC. The duo set the rumour mill in motion after photos surfaced of Tatum (starring in Kravitz’s directorial debut, Pussy Island) riding a black BMX bike with Kravitz walking next to him, already twinning in jeans and faded charcoal tops. Though a grunge approach to minimalism is nothing new for Kravitz, we can’t help but wonder if Tatum took a page out of her style book while studying The Batman star’s fan accounts on Instagram (which, by the way, he actually follows).
A few days later and still in good spirits, the common theme here was something blue. Kravitz wore the perfect summer slip dress from Araks while Tatum took more of a laid back approach in a white graphic tee, patchwork blue jeans and classic Converse, both accessorizing with some iced coffee.
Two words: matching monochrome. Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum may have chosen different colour palettes here, but they both understood the assignment when it came to nailing the monochromatic style.
Kravitz kept it low-key on this August excursion in an all-black ensemble, while maintaining her Cool Girl status with a cropped tank, flowy pants and square-toe sandals. Tatum’s tee, meanwhile, made a…statement. The Magic Mike leading man may have opted for some bold messaging, but his black chinos and Adidas sneakers were still on brand for the couple’s relaxed sense of style.
This year’s Met Gala was a total change of pace for the pair who proved they can do glamour just as well as street style. Kravitz is the ultimate Saint Laurent muse, having worn the brand in 2018, 2019 and, of course, in 2021 to the Met Gala red carpet. After all, she is an ambassador for YSL Beauty. Her bejewelled barely-there gown turned heads alongside Tatum’s timeless Versace tux. They really can do it all.
We knew Kravitz was capable of delivering major fashion inspo, but now the couple have become a package deal made in street style heaven that we just can’t get enough of. The best part? There are (hopefully) plenty of looks and paparazzi photos to obsess over on the way, as a source told People magazine that the couple is over hiding their relationship and are now more relaxed about the publicity of it all. Needless to say, we’re here for it and we can’t wait for more.
