As Rihanna’s fans beg her to release her highly anticipated album, the singer turned mogul has other plans. The Badgal is adding more business endeavors to the Fenty brand. Her company, Roraj Trade, LLC, recently filed legal documents targeted towards hair care products and tools.
On March 3, Rihanna trademarked “Fenty Hair,” a line that covers products for hair preparation, hair coloring, dandruff shampoo, straightening tools, and hair glitter. (Side note: I’m very much ready to return to the office with hair glitter.)
Rihanna has yet to make any public statements about the potential line, but with the wild success from Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage x Fenty Rihanna’s “Fenty” name is a global empire to watch.
When news broke regarding Rihanna’s newest business plan, social media started buzzing. Fans began sharing their excitement of the potential hair care line.

This announcement comes weeks after the 33-year-old mogul and joint partner, LVMH, decided to pause her ready-to-wear fashion line, Fenty, to focus on the Savage line.”LVMH and Rihanna reaffirm their ambition to concentrate on the growth and the long-term development of the Fenty ecosystem focusing on cosmetics, skincare, and lingerie,” per WWD. The star was reportedly “sad” about closing the fashion line but is now shifting her focus on Savage x Fenty. In February, Forbes reported that Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty line is valued at $1 Billion. The inclusive lingerie brand was launched in 2018 and grew more than 200% last year. The line recently received $115 million to expand into retail.
While we all await the new Rihanna album, music seems to be the last of RiRi’s worries. She told Entertainment Tonight in 2020, “I am always working on music, and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out. And you’re not going to be disappointed when it happens. It’s going to be worth it.”
Let this serve as a reminder that we will get the music when we deserve the music. While we wait, Fenty Hair seems to be happening soon. We’ll update this post as more information becomes available.
