It’s hard to believe that the first season of Love Is Blind hit Netflix almost two years ago. After what feels like literally forever, Love Is Blind season 2 is finally here, and the new cast of hopeful singles is full of surprises.
While it doesn’t look as though any original cast members are returning for a second chance at love, the new group is sure to be every bit as entertaining as their season 1 counterparts. Here’s everything you need to know about the cast of Love Is Blind season 2, now that new episodes are streaming on Netflix.
Abhishek “Shake”
Thirty-three-year-old Abhishek, who goes by “Shake,” is a veterinarian and DJ, and viewers are going to be glued to his journey. In his Instagram bio, Shake describes himself as a “Veterinarian helping humans achieve (self) love and success through guidance, healing, & accountability.” If that doesn’t instantly pique your interest, his Love Is Blind arc most certainly will.
Aja
Twenty-eight-year-old Aja is a paralegal, who “can’t stand a bad communicator.” She’s mastered the art of seamlessly blending streetwear (she collects Jordan 1s) with the looks she regularly models on Instagram.
Brandon
Brandon, 36, may be an insurance broker by trade, but his Instagram is all about fitness. In fact, his abs are often on display (and we’re not mad about it). He’s also a big fan of strong communicators because, as he says, “I can’t read minds.”
Brian
Brian, 32, is an advertising strategist, a Marine Veteran, a Doctor of Psychology, and a professor, who describes himself as “outgoing and loud,” which he knows might be polarizing. Per his website, Brian is “the son of Vietnam War refugees who settled in a small rural community on Missouri’s vast plain.”
Caitlin
Caitlin, 31, works in medical software sales, and finds “rudeness” to be a “huge turn-off.” As she explains on Instagram, “Dating in this generation is hard. I’ve tried a lot of things to find ‘the one.’ Tune in … to see my latest leap of faith in finding love.” Caitlin also owns a super-cute dog called Duke.
Chassidy
Chassidy, 34, owns Your Image Matters LLC, working as a makeup artist, hair stylist, and image consultant, and her style is regularly on display on Instagram. Chassidy doesn’t “understand messy eaters,” something that’s impossible to detect while talking to prospective beaus in the pods.
Danielle
Danielle, 29, is an associate director of marketing. According to Danielle, this gorgeous pup is the love of her life, and who can blame her? Her Instagram account has been extremely sparse over the past year, although that might not be related to her stint on Love Is Blind. She has a lone Michael Scott quote in lieu of a bio, so maybe she’s just been watching The Office?
Deepti
Deepti, 31, is an information data analyst, and the “product of two cultures intertwined into one soul,” according to her IG bio. Deepti notes, “I would tell the love of my life I’m ready to light up his life because my name literally means light.” That’s a killer pick-up line if we ever heard one.
Haseeb
Haseeb, 28, is a Chicago-based lawyer with a penchant for pumpkin patches (at least according to a quick scroll on his page). He’s provided legal commentary on the news, and regularly posts photos from his travels.
Hope
Hope, a 32-year-old sales manager, reveals, “I want someone to take me for who I am and not try to change me.” Importantly, Hope also wants someone who can keep up with her, be it in travel, restaurants, or taking on “a new adventure.”
Iyanna
Iyanna, a 27-year-old program coordinator, is about to make a big impact on the show. As her Instagram bio declares, she’s “Exceptionally adaptable. Amazingly introverted. Painfully amazing.”
James, aka “Joey”
Joey’s Instagram account makes it clear that he’s adventurous. From bungee jumping to scuba diving to quad biking, he’s done it all. The 30-year-old is a business strategy consultant, and he believes, “If I could tell the love of my life one thing, it’s that I’ll try my best to make her smile every single day for the rest of her life.”
Jarrette
Jarrette, 32, is a project manager, a sneaker dealer, a podcast host, an investor, and a barber. Instagram bio contains the mantra, “Always strive to be the best version of you, even when others may seem compromised!” We’re sold!
Jason
Jason, 31, works as a flight attendant on United Airlines. Sharing his involvement in Love Is Blind, Jason teased on Instagram, “Like I said… things are about to get interesting this year!” He also shared his relationship strategy, saying, “I’d tell the person I fall for that no matter what, I’ll always be there for you,” which is pretty damn cute.
Jeremy
Jeremy, 36, is a director and entrepreneur. Per his Instagram bio, he’s into fitness, philosophy, self-improvement, sports, and snowboarding. Of his Love Is Blind experience, Jeremy says, “I’m most excited about subverting my own expectations about what dating is.” He’s also a dog dad to two adorable Alaskan Klee Kais.
Juhie
Juhie, 31, is a clinical therapist. “Spread happiness everywhere you go,” she writes in her IG bio, describing herself as a “lover of faith, family, and friends.” She might be looking for a partner on Love Is Blind, but she’s a proponent of self-love, first and foremost. As she writes on Instagram, “Life can get tough, but try to be there for yourself as much as you can.”
Julius
Thirty-nine-year-old Julius is a logistics manager. He might be about to become a reality TV star, but his Instagram account is currently private, which only adds a degree of mystery to him. As his bio reads, “If you wait for the right time, you’ll never make your move.”
Kara
Thirty-two-year-old Kara is a client service manager. Per her Instagram bio, she’s an animal lover who is fluent in sarcasm, and her love language is food, which is highly relatable. She jokes, “I overpack, so no, we can’t go backpacking.” Same, TBH.
Kyle
Kyle, 29, is a glazier, and he owns a ridiculously cute pup. As for what he’s not looking for in a relationship, Kyle explains, “My biggest pet peeve is someone who has a negative pessimistic attitude.” Sadly, that rules me out then.
Mallory
Communications manager Mallory, 32, is about to be involved in some serious Love Is Blind drama. She’s already in a committed relationship with her German Shepherd, as she explains, “[S]he sheds a lot. But we’re a package deal. We come together.” Her parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year, and it’s clear that their enduring relationship has had a big influence on Mallory.
Natalie
Twenty-nine-year-old Natalie is a consulting manager with a sense of humor. As she notes on Instagram, “all bad jokes and awkward comments are mine.” Meanwhile, her biggest pet peeve is “when men name-drop and show off.” Amen.
Nick
Thirty-six-year-old Nick is a VP of product marketing. He calls himself a humanist in his Instagram bio, encourages everyone to “Be Relevant” (whatever that means), and seems to have a soft spot for cold brew coffee. According to Nick, he’s “kind of a neat freak,” which is funny because he’s about to get pretty messy onscreen. Oh, and his dog is beautiful.
Olivia
Olivia, 29, is a recruitment partner, who thanks Netflix for “editing out [her] pit stains,” so I officially love her. Also highly relatable is Olivia’s statement: “I don’t like doing the dishes so my future partner might have to take that over for me.” Or maybe just buy a dishwasher?
Rocky
Thirty-year-old Rocky is described simply as an “executive,” which sounds intriguing. His Instagrams show that he’s big on traveling and looks surprisingly good in a banana-print shirt.
Salvador
Thirty-one-year-old Salvador is an executive assistant who, according to his Instagram bio, is “musically inclined.” Salvador says, “Sometimes I leave my dirty dishes out,” which could cause friction with some of the other contestants.
Shaina
Shaina, 32, is a freelance hairstylist, which explains why her hair always looks freaking incredible. “I appreciate honesty in all things, especially dating,” she says. “Just tell the truth.” Her Love Is Blind journey is super interesting; Shaina will definitely keep you guessing.
Shayne
Real estate broker Shayne, 32, is probably going to be in-demand in the Love Is Blind pods. Shayne proclaims, “Someone always late is a turn-off!” Much like many of his fellow contestants, Shayne can often be found spending quality time with his sweet dog.
Shea’na
Shea’na’s Instagram account is private, but the 36-year-old event partnership director is more than a little impressive. She was a three-sport athlete (volleyball, indoor and outdoor track and field), and won eight National Championships and 17 All-American Awards during her four years at Carthage College.
Trisha
Thirty-year-old Trisha is a real estate broker. She is not on Instagram; or at least her page is no longer available.
Vito
Vito, 33, owns a pizzeria and, unsurprisingly, his “number one pet peeve is when someone is rude to a waiter.” He shares on Instagram, “I tend not to have a filter.” He also has a devastatingly cute puppy.
