Lady Gaga fully acknowledged she was posting a thirst trap on Instagram yesterday, sharing a cheeky bikini photo of herself from behind and captioning it, “Somebody’s 🧃” Gaga looks incredible in a strappy light blue two-piece swimsuit.
Where she is, a day before the Met Gala, is less clear, although it doesn’t appear to be the streets of Manhattan. At this point, it isn’t clear whether or not the singer, who has co-chaired the famous New York City fashion event before, will attend tonight.

Gaga reflected to British Vogue in November about how much she enjoys going on a press tour and serving up major fashion looks. “I love seeing everyone,” she said. “I appreciate so much how the public has adored me for almost two decades now. Whether I’m singing, acting or walking a red carpet, I love making the public smile.”
She’s happy these days, she added. “There was a long time when I didn’t think that I could heal from becoming famous at such a young age, and what it did to my brain,” she admitted. “But I feel ready to declare myself whole. We will never all be fully whole, but it’s certainly enough. I have a lot of gratitude for joy.”
It came after a dark period, during which Gaga made her album Chromatica. “I didn’t want to be me anymore,” she said of that time. “I didn’t have the ability to understand what I was capable of any longer as a person. I didn’t feel that I was worth just about anything. But I made it anyway. I said this to a friend the other day—whenever I go through hard times now, I always say with a laugh, ‘Yeah, this is hard. But it’s a lot harder when you want to kill yourself every day.’ So I pledge to always be somebody that speaks about mental health, that speaks about kindness, about compassion and validation. I believe wholeheartedly that the universe made this a part of my story so that I could be prepared to talk about it with the world.”
