Kylie Jenner Bought Stormi a $1,180 Louis Vuitton Bag, and Twitter Is Not Amused

Another day in 2020, another Jenner-Kardashian social media controversy. Today, Twitter was ablaze after Kylie Jenner shared a photo of her two-year-old daughter Stormi Webster with a $1,180 Louis Vuitton handbag on Wednesday.

“coolest baby to ever do ittt⛈,” Jenner captioned the poolside pic, which has more than 5 million likes on Instagram. The white designer bag is embellished with a multicolor “LV” logo and has tan-colored handles. Known as ‘The Nano Speedy,’ the bag is a miniature version of Louis Vuitton’s Speedy Bag. The website notes the item is “extremely lightweight and large enough for a smartphone, cards and keys.” So there will be ample room for Stormi’s fruit snacks, crayons, and Kylie Cosmetics, of course.

Unsurprisingly, many found it concerning that a two-year-old is now toting an accessary that is the same value as their rent. But things got even more complicated when Cardi B and Offset gifted their two-year-old daughter Kulture with a mini pink Birkin bag this week. Some pointed out the hypocrisy in judging the couple for splurging on their daughter, but celebrating Kylie when she does the same thing. (Don’t worry, Stormi’s got her own Birkin to post up at the playground with.)

Alas, drama in the designer bags for celebrity children space knows no end. Below, some of the best and most passionate Twitter responses to Stormi’s expensive new bag.
