It didn’t take long for Kim Kardashian to hit the event circuit after having her marriage to Kanye West legally dissolved by a Los Angeles judge this Wednesday. Kardashian attended Revolve’s Social Club opening and dressed up in a biker Balenciaga look. An eyewitness at the event told E! that when asked how she is, Kardashian said, “I’m doing so great!”

“Kim looked stunning and was so sweet to everyone,” the source added. “Kim was smiling the entire time. She appeared relaxed and happy to be there.” The appearance comes after Kardashian dropped “West” from her name on Twitter and Instagram. She asked the judge to restore her maiden name this week, which was granted.

E! spoke to a source after Kardashian was declared legally single about her headspace now. “[She is] anxious about the future but is very hopeful,” the source said of her feelings about her divorce from West, which is still being finalized in terms of custody, property, and financial matters.

“She hopes the rest of the divorce process will be amicable and her and Kanye will be able to get through it peacefully,” the source said. “[She] only wishes the best” for West.

Having the marriage dissolved has given Kardashian a newfound sense of peace. “Kim is feeling a huge sense of relief now that she has been declared legally single,” the source said. “She is very happy and feels she is one step closer to reclaiming her independence and being able to move on in her life.”
