You’ve seen the Beyoncé gymnastics routines (remember Nia Dennis’s floor performance earlier this year? It’s definitely worth a rewatch.), but back in 2016, Stanford synchronized swimming took Bey to the pool. It’s a routine you just have to see to enjoy, featuring a mash-up of some of her greatest hits — including “Run the World (Girls)” and “Single Ladies” — as the trio of swimmers leapt and flipped out of the water.
It’s no surprise that the Stanford synchro team went on win NCAA titles that year in multiple disciplines. In the trio category, this team took second overall. Take a minute, prepare to be amazed, then check out the full routine above!
