Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana just four months ago, and little Lili has already changed their worlds for the better. Us Weekly spoke to sources about how the new family of four is settling in.
One source told the outlet that Meghan, Harry, and their 2-year-old son Archie are over the moon about their new life with Lili. “Every day just gets happier,” the source said. “There’s just so much love and gratitude and they couldn’t ask for more.”
Harry in particular has a special relationship with his daughter, the source said: “Harry adores Lili and loves reading her bedtime stories and rocking her to sleep. He has a real magic touch.”
A source explained that things are a little easier for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with their second child, and they do get extra help while taking care of both Lili and Archie. “The Sussexes do have nannies to call on when their schedules get crazed, but they’re still extremely hands-on and try to keep the hired help to a minimum for the most part,” the source said. “It’s been easier for them with Lili in many ways, even though it’s twice the work, technically, because they’ve been able to use a lot of the techniques they learned with Archie and take care of things like feeding or bathing without too much fuss.”
As for Archie and Lili, there was a lot of love between them from the very start. A source told Us in June that Archie loves being a big brother. “Archie absolutely adores his little sister and gives her lots of kisses,” the source said. “He’s held her with the help of his parents. [He is] such a kind, loving child, and there aren’t any jealousy issues.”
