If there’s one thing about Florence Pugh aside from her undeniable talent on-screen, it’s that she loves rocking a stunning sheer outfit. The 26-year-old Dune 2 star attended the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 13th Governors Awards at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles on November 19, where she wore an elegant white “naked dress” from Victoria Beckham’s clothing line.

The white cowl neck draped over her torso while the see-through fabric with metallic accents outlined her abs and legs. She paired the floor-length gown with platform heels and Tiffany and Co. jewelry, including a standout gold necklace from the iconic jeweler’s archives.

Earlier this year, Miss Flo made headlines for emulating Barbiecore vibes with a tulle gown that exposed her chest at Valentino’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 22/23 fashion show in Italy. She faced criticism for her fashion choice online, to which she responded with a powerful Instagram post. Since then, she’s continued to wear sheer outfits because she’s “come to terms with the intricacies of [her] body that make [her, her.]”

“Listen, I knew when I wore that incredible Valentino dress that there was no way there wouldn’t be a commentary on it,” she wrote in her July post. “Whether it be negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing. I was excited to wear it, not a wink of me was nervous. I wasn’t before, during, or even now after.”

“I wore that dress because I know. If being loudly abusive towards women publicly in 2022 is so easy for you, then the answer is that it is you who doesn’t know,” she wrote, ending her post. “Grow up. Respect people. Respect bodies. Respect all women. Respect humans. Life will get a whole lot easier, I promise.”
