Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are well versed in what a relationship needs to stay interesting: high up on that list? The occasional innocent troll of your partner. On Friday, Cabello did an impression of her boyfriend’s July 15 TikTok—and was sure to point out all of its flaws.
Here is the original TikTok (it’s sweet, but he did leave in a couple blooper moments):

Mendes did admit his faults in the TikTok caption: “Ive been trying to make a TikTok for 2 hours.”
One commenter was quick to point out that Mendes grew up in the age of social media and video-sharing apps: “Shawn, you’re in your 20s and came up on vine its not hard lmao.”
Another was just confused as to why he just stared at the camera after he was done with the video: “WHY DID YOU STARE LIKE THAT AFTER LMAO.”
“This man grew up on Vine but doesn’t know that you can delete clips 😭,” another wrote.
This relationship is one of mutual trolling, though. When Mendes and Cabello, who have been together for more than two years, did a livestream for Global Citizen and the World Health Organization in the early days of lockdown.
During the livestream, the two talked Harry Potter, and when Cabello got a little mixed up on some of the characters’ names, her beau poked some fun at her.
When she accidentally said “Luna Lovenangle,” Mendes teasingly reminded her that the character’s last name is definitely not that.
“Luna Lovegood, thank you. Just the wrong word.”
All in good fun.
