Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Are, Reportedly, Officially Married

Culture

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker appear to have tied the knot (again). But this time, the festivities were, reportedly, legally binding: TMZ reports that Kardashian and Barker were married on Sunday, May 15, in Santa Barbara, where the couple was photographed together at the city’s downtown courthouse. Kardashian was spotted wearing a veil and white knee-length dress, with Barker in a black tuxedo. Their convertible featured a “Just Married” sign attached to its trunk. (TMZ has photos, which can be see here.)

The couple has yet to confirm the news on their social media accounts.

Kardashian and Barker’s legal wedding comes after the two enjoyed a “practice” wedding in Las Vegas in April after the Grammys. Kardashian shared photos of her and Barker at a chapel and explained in her caption that, despite initial media reports otherwise, she and Barker weren’t actually married that evening.

“Found these in my camera roll,” Kardashian wrote. “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect.”

Kardashian and Barker’s legal wedding comes after the two attended (and made out at) the Met Gala together for the first time at the beginning of May.

Kardashian opened up to ELLE.com recently about why she has no qualms showing PDA with Barker everywhere the couple goes. “I think that Travis looks at life in a really special way. Like no one that I’ve known, to where like it’s as if nobody exists,” Kardashian said. “I can get more shy, but like, it’s helped me so much to be present and pretend like no one else is there. And we’ll be like just in the room with people and they’ll say, my mom does it all the time, she’ll be like, ‘Can you guys just gimme a second? Like, can you just stop for one second and talk to me?’ But it’s a really cool thing. And it really helps me stay in the present and like focus on what’s important.”
