A source told E! on September 8 that Jenner had initially wanted to reveal the news at the Met Gala last Monday but it “didn’t work out the way she had hoped.” Still, “she’s happy with the way it all turned out,” the source said. “She is very happy and thrilled to finally share such exciting news with all of her fans.”
A separate source confirmed to E! that Jenner and her on-off boyfriend Travis Scott are back together amid their second pregnancy. “[They] have a lot of love between them,” that source said. “Kylie really loves Travis and she does see a future with him.”
“They realized they want to be together instead of apart,” the source continued. “The pregnancy is only bringing them closer together.”
Jenner described Scott as her best friend to Harper’s Bazaar in February 2020. “We have such a great relationship,” Jenner said then. “We’re like best friends. We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her. We stay connected and coordinated. I think about [my parents] in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi.”
