The shampoo gave an intense lather, despite being sulfate-free which was very pleasing to me, given that my bangs are just sponges for sweat during the summer. Then, after a nice scalp massage, I rinsed it off and felt my new squeaky-clean hair. Unfortunately, it was so clean that it felt almost a little dry. Strike one, I thought, because I was in a bad mood.
But then came the conditioner. Upon impact with my hair, all the tangles that I’ve been sporting during my days of wearing my hair curly immediately came apart. It had the consistency of a regular conditioner with the intensity of a hair masque, and I immediately forgot all my suspicions and began to love these products. Post-shower, I let my hair air-dry for 20 minutes before going in with a blow dryer, as is my ritual. I was left with frizz-free, nourished, clean, and baby-soft hair at the end of it.
