Zara x Jo Loves Fragrance

What you need to know: Fans of luxury fragrance on a high-street budget, listen up. Fragrance maven Jo Malone has partnered with Zara on a collection of five perfumes – Waterlily Tea Dress, Bohemian Bluebells, Amalfi Sunray, Ebony Wood, Vetiver Pamplemousse, Tuberose Noir, Fleur D’Oranger and Fleur De Patchouli – for women, men and kids with corresponding candles and gift sets (hello, holiday shopping). The line marks Zara’s first global fragrance collaboration.

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Exfoliating Body Treatment

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Exfoliating Body Treatment

What you need to know: Dr. Gross’ Alpha Beta face peels are the best skincare product I’ve ever used and I don’t say that lightly. (Seriously, I recommend them to everyone.) So news of this launch is music to my ears. The wipes are designed to treat common body bumps like acne and keratosis pilaris, but they’re also just good for an all-over glow. “You don’t have to have a major problem, you could just want your skin to look more beautiful,” Gross told Allure. “People that come into the practice are using words like ‘dullness’ and ‘dryness,’ and they just want more vitality from their skin. That’s what makes people happy.”

Biologique Recherche

Biologique Reserche cream

What you need to know: Cult favourite French skincare brand Biologique Recherche has reformulated two of its products. The Creme ISO Placenta moisturizer, designed for acne-prone (and acne-scarred) skin, is now free of animal-based ingredients. Instead, it contains five biomimetic ingredients – i.e. ingredients that mimic the structure of those found naturally in the body. For rosacea-prone skin, Creme Verte Espoire AR moisturizer has entirely new active ingredients to help control redness and limit trans-epidermal water loss.

Lancome Lash Idôle

Lancome Mascara

What you need to know: This lifting and volumizing mascara promises a smudge-proof 24-hour wear, but the real cause for excitement is the brush. Its curved shape and 360 micro bristles – in 250 sizes! – ensure the formula, which is gel-based (so it won’t feel as thick as waxier formulations), coats every lash.

Intergalactic Lactic Acid Serum

Lactic acid serum

What you need to know: Okay, so this genius overnight serum from Calgary-based XO Facecare founder and formulator Annie Graham actually launched in November, but it deserves another moment to shine. To obtain peak brightening and smoothing effects, you must obey the cardinal rule: don’t use it everyday. “Over exfoliation leads to red, dry, oily and acneic skin, and the only way to fix it is to stop exfoliating and play nice,” Graham told her IG audience. “Proper exfoliation, however, can help acne, improve moisture retention, reduce pigmentation and give you the glow you crave.” Use it three nights in a row every two or three weeks. Trust us, by night one, you’ll be hooked.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Cream Color Drip Lip Cream

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Lip Gloss

What you need to know: Riri’s latest lip launch takes its cues from the popular Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer. The new Gloss Bomb Cream lip glosses pack more creamy colour and shine and are available in five shades. As with every other Fenty Beauty product, they’re designed with all skin tones in mind. (Watch Riri model them in this addictive TikTok video.) Fans of the peachy-vanilla OG Fenty lip gloss scent are in luck – these each have the exact same one.
